RMweb Gold pheaton Posted June 20, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 20, 2020 Hi All, Im rebuilding my station from the platform up, and ive just completely rebuilt the roof using plasticard and plastruct, and im looking at gluing a valance boards on but can't work out what the best glue to use for it, previously ive used spray on contact adhesive but I find it ages far too quickly and after a few years it all falls apart, I have used PVA in the past to glue paper to plasticard (small signs) but wondered if anyone out there had any tips on what to use? Wickes do their own version of "clear glue" in tubes and a contact adhesive that is amazingly like old school Evostick. Tubes are more expensive than tins but are more easily applied. MartynJPearson Posted June 20, 2020 Share Posted June 20, 2020 I've found Roket card glue to be quite effective at sticking plastic to card / paper - used it to attach platform fencing to a Scalescenes cardboard platform, relay boxes to cardboard bases etc. 4 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
