Norton961
I am in the process of painting and lining out a 4mm Midland Milk Van and I need help on what colour should the “ yellow” lining should be. The vehicle is painted circa 1910 so I know the lining is yellow and not gold. On the basis that I can’t buy any paint from Precision, what would be the closest match from Humbrol? The picture attached is progress to date. Poor Old Bruce
Would a straw colour be better than yellow? Less vivid.
Norton961
Ian Rathbone has suggested mixing a colour, Humbrol No 9 Tan and No 69 Gloss Yellow mixed 50-50 and then add a tiny drop of green. This gives a khaki colour. As an alternative Precision Ochre Brown or MGNR Golden Gorse. David
