We are now flat out getting ready to hold our next exhibition  (subject to Covid Requirements) on:

 

Saturday 23rd October and Sunday 24th October

 

Opening time 10am to 5:30 pm Saturday

10am to 4pm Sunday

 

Entry cost  £8 per adult. Every adult can bring up to 3 under 16 children free of charge.

 

We accept cash or cards for entry

It will be held in the entrance foyer and Main Sports Hall of the Grammar School at Leeds, Harrogate Rd, Leeds LS17 8GS

NOTE For SatNav please use LS17 9NA.

 

Lots of free car parking available - and Blue Badge Holders will find allocated Parking.

Details of public transport - use the 36 from Harrogate or from Leeds Bus Station to Alwoodley Gates.

We expect there to be a full refreshment service (from hot breakfast in the morning to hot and cold refreshments at lunch time.. and they are excellent!)

Quick update.

 

We will endeavour to make a "one way" system through the halls easy to follow.

 

We are asking that people should wear a mask and sanitise before handling traders goods.

Looking forward to affixing one of these to the front of Grantham. Layout all dusted down from its enforced lay off, all set up and working for our practice running session this weekend. Will be great to be back in the show routine again.

It's a great looking line up at the show I'm here all weekend as part of Hornby Magazine's take over of Pete Waterman's west coast Main line layout. Come and see me trying to cope with a DCC non Southern Layout...

Also a few interesting things to see in the display cases on the Hornby Magazine stand and a few more new product announcements being made.

While I won't be able to attend (it is quite a trip from the East Coast of the U.S.) I am keeping my fingers crossed and hope that the attendees have a terrific time, the vendors do well and the layouts run great. It's been a long time (I have been to a show here in about 2 years) and it is great to see the exhibitions starting up again!

Cheers for the mention Barry.. to be specific I work in 148th scale not 152nd. :-) it may seem like a small thing to a 7mm man like yourself lol but 8.01% by volume is a lot in my world lol.

 

Looking forwards to getting out on the circuit after such a long time talking to myself at the bench!
