Today I will do my first update on the construction of my 00 Gauge Layout of Kingskerswell station! The station situated in the South West of England between Newton Abbot and Torre. The station was opened in 1853 by the South Devon Railway and closed in 1964 due to a lack of passenger and use of the station. The platform's (shown above) are the only things left of the station.

The track plan for the layout (shown below) shows the simplicity of the layout but how it has a lot of character. The layout is quite close to me as I use to live up the road from Kingskerswell station and I so wish that I saw it during it's time of running! The layout will be in an oval with a scenic side and a storage side. I hope that this will be an exciting project and I look forward to further updatesS907B-2.gif.11a7be5b31465db42640ecb12781f94f.gif
