Martinnj Posted July 10, 2020 Share Posted July 10, 2020 Hello there A friend has passed to me his SEF I3 and asked me to see if I can get it to go around the set track radius bends of his layout. The problem appears to be the rear trailing “radial” wheel which simply sits in the chassis with side play but does not pivot or move radially (is that a word?!) Has any one ever modified on of these chassis to overcome this issue? any help gratefully received Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
hayfield Posted July 10, 2020 Share Posted July 10, 2020 Cut the whitemetal radial castings off the footplate and fit a pony truck providing you have the older style chassis. If its the newer etched chassis you would have to alter the rear etched frames to allow a pony truck to rotate Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
