bike2steam
What most pictorial books on mechanical signaling don't show is good pics, taken from above, of signal-box 'lead-off beds'( that big piece of plate(s), in front of, and between the box, and the track). I need some info/ideas on the types of location of the signal wire, large, horizontal pulleys, preferrably BR, exLMS/LNWR, but anything will do for ideas. Probably trying to flog a dead 'orse, but it's worth a try!!?? Edited July 12, 2020 by bike2steam
RMweb Premium iands Posted July 12, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 12, 2020 Often referred to as "Lead off timbers". If not done so already, try looking at the photo section of the Signalling Record Society, they may well have a few good examples.
