Don't know if anyone from Bachmann is watching but with the Accurascale KUO Wagons due soon - wouldn't a re-run of these make sense ....... I know people dont do joined up thinking though, so I wont hold my breath .....

Bachmann’s existing tooling provides the basis for the RNA wagons that were cut down HEA’s and the former OBA’s that were used for low level waste to Drigg  in two versions as originally converted with new floor, no door and as refurbished without ends!

You don't necessarily need any runners. You could run one or both flasks with an Regional Railways and or EWS livered inspection saloon at each end or more recently the DRS MK2 coaches.

When running loaded, they always have escort coaches for security personnel to travel in. Royal Navy's finest.....

Sorry no - I mean the Mk2 Coach pack

I think the problem is that you are referring to a Limited Edition pack that was produced by Bachmann for Model Rail and the chances are that somewhere in the original contract there would have been a clause that would prevent Bachmann making further models.  If not, then what was sold as a Limited Edition would no longer be as limited.  I think the only way round that would be to produce a coach pack that is different in some way from the Limited Edition version - eg it's a weathered pair.

There is a specific branch of the police for protection of such traffic:

Civil Nuclear Constabulary

But strangely they deal with power station stuff , staff at aldermarston are MOD police who deal with weapons stuff ... so I’m not sure who’d deal with sub fuel

It's done by this happy bunch,The Ministry of Defence Police Special Escort Group (MDP SEG) .

Have dumped into a couple of them years ago and what a happy breed they are, fun and laughter is removed at birth.

I'm not surprised, if you dumped into them.  I'd be annoyed too.
