RMweb Gold zr2498 Posted July 28, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 28, 2020 (edited) Having recently acquired a Canon Powershot G12, I was curious about the number of actuations (shots) taken with this camera. I looked on line at the U-tube video of how to do this. Although that is a G11, I would expect the same method. Formatted an SD card on PC then added text file vers.req In camera, switched on power, turned to playback and 'No Image' on screen Pressed disp and Func Set button in centre of function mode dial together BUT no response. If you do this it is important to view the file extension in Windows Explorer so that the .txt file extension is changed.
