Class 25 7581 arriving at Kinlochmore with a short freight from North Ballachulish in the summer of 1969. The sun is out for a change.

Having just parked my Claud Butler on the station platform, I’ve nipped over the bridge to take a quick shot of the station building from the goods yard. It looks like rain is on the way, so I might just put the bike on the afternoon train back to Fort William.

Really good looking rat, love the weathering!

David cracking images, can i ask what products you have used on the embankment? There is a depth of quality to it that I want to strive for!

Thanks. Rather than go 'off-topic' I've sent you a PM.

What's with all the panniers? :biggrin_mini2:

C'mon, you must know the words... repeat after me:

There is no such thing as too many panniers.

There is no such thing as too many panniers.

There is no such thing as too many panniers.

We all see things slightly differently when we look at photos, but in response to the OP this is the photo (from those submitted thus far) that made me personally do a double take and think someone had tried to slip in a photo of the real life Railway:

Normally when people say this, it can appear a bit cliche. In this instance though I have to totally agree!

The lighting and composition here is just sublime.

Perhaps you might like a shot of the narrow gauge in Victoria - Baldwin 15A and van 2NC waiting for the next move:

<pedant> 15A was built by the Victorian Railways at their Newport, Vic, Workshop, not Baldwin (which was where 1A and 2A were built).  </pedant>

Just a sea wall and some steps.

Not a lot to see really, apart from the 'Old Sea Dog' sitting at the top.

Don't get into conversation with him as you'll be there all day as he regales one (or many) of his nautical stories......

Two photos from my, now dismantled, layout Fairhaven Road. Just for a change, no track or rolling stock visible but still integral parts of the layout and, I hope, quite realistic.
