A bit of black and white 20th century action...

Decent 50 on CC  - reminds me of holidays past St Blazey  - Par and the likes.

May be me but road vehicles never seem to cut it in the realism stakes.

A couple of shots at my first attempt at customising a blue box Athearn kit.

I converted a high hood GP7 into a low hood version for my fictitious short line the Interstate & Western. Seen here working in east yard at Benson, then at rest at the minimal servicing facilities.

Looking along Belgrave Terrace behind Croft Spa ststion.  Buildings here are a mixture of scratchbuilt by me, scratchbuilt by the late Trevor Webster, kitbuilt by me, kitbuilt by Geoff Warren,

Ten Commandments stonecast painted by me, Lyddle End, Scenecraft and war gamers' scrap box. All chosen to fit the pattern of the real terrace, though foreshortened to fit the space. The gardens on the East side do slope up to the railway in reality.

You’re right, but five beers down at 1:30 in the morning it seemed like a good idea. :mocking_mini:

I tell you what, it’s really difficult to find decent 1980s road vehicles in N gauge.

A rare stopping train at Croft Spa station sees one of Darlington's pair of 2-car mongrel sets on a train from Richmond.  One of the Marsden videos includes a shot of one of these sets on a Richmond service.

The standard NER footbridge was probably removed when the road bridge was remodelled but the remaining station buildings on this side were there to closure in 1969.

The Santa Fe EMD GP 50 I won in an NMRA raffle and although it was not a road I had any interest in, it gradually grew on me. It was an Athearn basic kit so I added details to it and assumed it was working off horsepower hours down in Arkansas. An excellent excuse to run all sorts of guest roads.

She is seen earning her keep in the west yard at Benson.

ok not the most realistic on here but it is N gauge.

Those semis look good as a row and the gardens are very well done.

Don't sell your self short. It's as good as most on here and you're not posting photos of cardboard boxes pretending to be bridges and buildings.
