The Ashley Drew & Northern #1513 is CF7. These are an EMD F7 rebuilt by the Santa Fe shops at Cleburne Texas, some 233 were built between 1970 and 1978 and were phased out in the early 1980’s and bought by many short lines.

I love the riverside viewpoint in the 3rd shot.

(Definitely not a Monday 'cos that's when the UKF fertilizer vans ran! ;) )

A gloriously sunny morning at Seven Mills, and looking over the Mills Lane Bridge I see that the 33046, Merlin is waiting for the new Shunter 08740 to move the Brake Van with Bill in it, and Ben is checking out the Turbots, 47199 is Stabled at the far end of the Yard.

A sunny afternoon at Loxley depot, the more I look at the picture the more I see details that I need to address. One that stands out is avoiding making the plonked on building look plonked on, but of course it needs to be easily removed as sods law says something will break down / derail in there if it's hard to get at!

Add a low wall or rail/armco type barrier just in front of the building walls that hides the gap.

TBh, I didn’t really see that. The one thing I think maybe does is the absolute cleanliness of the track round the fuel point which in reality would be a toxic mix of black oily gunk, litter and assorted c@ap I’d think !
but it’s still a nice scene regardless .

A short running session featuring the Dapol B4 0-4-0T edited with real sound.
Sounds are provided by a number of similar locomotives from my sound collection, captured at various Gala and Preserved Railways over the past few years.
Here we see 'Sussex' in dazzling industrial yellow livery - weathered by Rails of Sheffield - working rakes of 16 Ton mineral wagons around Somerdale Colliery.
Hope you enjoy!

G5 and push-pull set slows to stop at Croft Spa station on a Darlington to Richmond train.  This is the set that is outstationed at Middleton in Teesdale and is working a fill-in turn.  When it gets back to Darlington it will head back home.  The loco is correctly at the downhill end of the train for working in Teesdale which means it is loco first into Richmond.

The loco was converted from a Dapol M7 by the late Graham Smith. The coaches are an Etched Pixels LNER push-pull set.

The ground signals in view are prototypically the only signals on the section of line modelled.
