The Peak drags its train of parcels empties from the yard exchange road into the headshunt at Burchill Edge Sidings whilst a Class 25 arrives with some Newspapers empties destined for Red Bank. It must be morning again.

By the approach to London Road Station an 0-6-2T Watford Tank propels a PO coal while a 4'6" 2-4-2T Radial Tank waits to leave on the line out of the Steam Shed. On the roadway to the bridge the Handsom Cab's horse takes on water.

Andy came up for a visit and took a couple of photographs while I had the back scene off of the joining section for some track cleaning.

A hedgehog and a grass snake go about their business without stopping to wonder why the 1361 class behind the fence hasn't been cleaned....

A short running session featuring the Hornby Peckett B2 0-6-0ST edited with real sound.
Sounds are provided by a number of similar locomotives from my sound collection, captured at various Gala and Preserved Railways over the past few years.
Here we see Peckett B2s No.1426 in NCB Green & No. 1203 'The Earl' in pale blue livery working various trains around Somerdale Colliery.
Hope you enjoy!
