A couple of shots of a Southern Pacific SW1500 #2458 in the Farmer’s Coop siding having finished switching the yard for the morning. It would seem the crew from the yellow panel truck and the SP switcher are at the diner too.

Up on the bank by Hawthorn Dene Mrs Poultry feeds her hens in the background while Dottie has arrived at her grandad's pigeon loft to tell him that if he isn't home in ten minutes his dinner will be in the dog.

A modified Southern Pacific Baldwin S-12 with extra large head lights at each end. The real locos were built to work in the yards in San Francisco twenty four hours a day and were all traded in for more modern power. My model has managed to stay on the SP roster but now lurks in south west Arkansas switching freight cars.

That's really good.

A clincher might be if you had a smooth plastered wall behind, instead of the bricks! ;)

A joint effort this- another corner of the now retired club N-gauge layout Rise Park, where the new Rise Park Estate is just being constructed.  Foliage and green areas by me, fencing by Jim and most of the buildings by Alf Hodkin.  The show house is a model of Alf's own house.  The progression mirrors how his street was erected and the scaffolding  is a copy of the stuff they used for the job.
