SDJR7F88
A short running session featuring one of my Bachmann Midland 4F Class 0-6-0, edited with real sound. Sounds are provided by preserved class members from my sound collection, captured at various Gala and Preserved Railways over the past few years. Here we see Ex Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway No.44559 in BR late black, with typical weathered finished, hauling a short coal train. Hope you enjoy! 10

Can practically envisage hearing train announcements, other than when that PC lifts a safety valve and lets go with a blast from its siren. The DMU is beautifully posed beneath that extremely realistic roof.. Well done. 2 5

And 3A & 4A could also be considered "built by Baldwin"? Given they were assembled from spare parts at Newport by the Victorian Railways...... RMweb Premium Popular Post PaternosterRow Posted June 26, 2021 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted June 26, 2021 A couple of long exposure shots using an old cinema spotlight mounted above the layout. I’ve always been fascinated by those old black and white photos that have captured streaming sunlight through Station canopies. It’s a really hard effect to pull off using artificial light. The spotlight was a lucky find and came from a guy that used to be a projectionist in the 1950’s. He’d had it in his loft for years and gave it me for the princely sum of a tenner. 43 25
