Thanks, I like your thinking - even a small turn would bring him into whatever conversation is being had! I was pleased with our chap in yhe doorway, he's framed so well against the dark interior.

Taken in this evening's strong and low light (after the thunderstorms…), here is the sole active surviving 60 in EWS colours - albeit with DB branding - 60065 'Spirit of Jaguar' coupling up to a HTA in Fordley Sidings to take it across to the WRD for attention.

This is my first attempt at weathering a continental coach, in this case a 1962 DB Rheingold corridor first, officially an Av4üm. I thought I'd show it here since you don't often see continental stock weathered at all, for some reason most people seem to prefer to run their European stock straight out of the box. I used contemporary photos as a guide and read George Dent's excellent book on the subject from cover to cover before I lifted my airbrush.  I'm very pleased with the result. I just have a couple of hundred others left to do!
