Popular Post Cowley 47521
At a loose end so I took a few more tonight. A couple of photos of the 31 picking some logs up from Lapford yard: A DMU with a trailing van leaving Eggesford: And then legging it non stop through Lapford a few minutes a later at full trickity-trock line speed… That old bridge is going to rattle… Edited November 12, 2021 by Cowley 47521 26 3

Popular Post fulton
Rochester sailing barge UVW of the "Alphabet" fleet just about to pass under the Rochester bridges, the two man crew has taken on a "huffler" to help lower and raise the gear, the barge relies on its momentum and the tide to carry it through, the oars are for guidance. 16 1
Popular Post fulton
The barge UVW having passed under the Rochester bridges now enters Jane's Creek, heading under the SECR bridge to enter Pelican Creek, for Medway Steel where the gear will have to be raised again to gain access to the hatches, must have been very hard work. 10

Even something classic 1980s like a Scania 112 or a Volvo 10 Turbo 6.

How about a Leyland Eromatic cabed AEC, or Bedford TK there where plenty of those running around into the late 70's BR blue and grey era 2

Blackthorn
Thanks to everyone who has posted on here. If I can achieve half as much detail as the pictures on here I would be happy! Hopefully I can get some modelling done soon, it will be something small and worth posting on here. I can honestly say going through the106 pages I am left in awe! 2

Sounds are provided by a number of similar locomotives from my sound collection, captured at various Gala and Preserved Railways over the past few years. Here we see Bagnall 0-6-0ST, No. 3061 'Empress' working various trains around Somerdale Colliery. Hope you enjoy!

The 70s are covered and mid/late 80s. For example vans, I wanted a BR Mk2 transit. I have settled for a couple of Mk1s and a commer. Although if your layout set in the late 70s that makes it a bit easier. Regards Steve Edited November 14, 2021 by SouthernBlue80s

I havent checked the 4mm section but that is an era that plenty model and is thin on the ground. I did have a H0 scale Volvo F10 back in the 80's built from a kit - Keil Kraft?
