RMweb Premium Popular Post 47137 Posted November 16, 2021 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted November 16, 2021 I am trying to build one wagon a month until the clocks change. November's effort is a personal take on how a Midland drop-side wagon might have looked if they had built some a bit earlier. From a Slater's kit with appendages: (The "black" paint here is Tamiya Dark Iron, this looks suitably soft from a usual viewing distance) - Richard. 14 2
Popular Post AndyB
This is the small coal yard on my current N-gauge layout "A Return to Nantford Spinney". The coal yard office was a surplus laser-cut kit of Wattlington signal box. Edited November 16, 2021 by AndyB

SDJR7F88
A short running session featuring my Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway Electrotren 0-6-0ST Saddle Tank edited with real sound. Sounds are provided by a number of similar locomotives from my sound collection, captured at various Gala and Preserved Railways over the past few years. Here we see S&DJR Fox Walker 0-6-0ST hauling a short S&DJR pick-up goods train, consisting of a mixture of company wagons. Hope you enjoy!

I would put some rust or grease on the buffers. Talc powder mixed up with a spot of mucky paint does the job
