SDJR7F88
A short running session featuring the Brown-Boveri Gas Turbine from Rails of Sheffield edited with real sound. Sounds are provided by a number of similar locomotives from my sound collection (I've opted for a the whine of a Class 56 turbo) captured at various Gala and Preserved Railways over the past few years. Here we see No.18000 in action on a short passenger service , consisting of a rake of Ex-LMS stock. Hope you enjoy! 9

RMweb Gold Popular Post Barry Ten Posted November 29, 2021 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted November 29, 2021 Ps-4 pacific 1391 at the coaling stage in Paynesville locomotive terminal, GA. It's actually a USRA pacific masquerading as a Ps-4, but they were pretty similar designs. This is a detailed and repainted Model Power loco with a Bachmann tender chassis for extra pick-up.

Hello John thanks for your comment, I haven't started a specific thread for this or my other layouts yet (like many things it's in the 'roundtoit' pile) but there are a few more pictures at https://jpsgallery.zenfolio.com/p501481377?fpciidx=7 2
Popular Post down the sdjr
Not a realistic photo but, I spent quite some time sloping the farmland into the embankment on my Stourpaine and Durweston halt layout. The results are quite pleasing but, it takes up a lot of space. 24

That would make an interesting little model actually if you just did the section between the bridges with the old graffitied signal box… 1
RMweb Premium John Besley Posted December 2, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 2, 2021 As 6 year old I remember standing there on the platform watching Lamport and Holt line leave with a Waterloo train and seeing the oil running down the cylinder casing on the drivers side.... Ade, Whilst some are supposed to look realistic I would argue that these look like the real thing when done in this format, excellent modelling and glad you listened to your followers !
