A short running session featuring the Brown-Boveri Gas Turbine from Rails of Sheffield edited with real sound.
Sounds are provided by a number of similar locomotives from my sound collection (I've opted for a the whine of a Class 56 turbo) captured at various Gala and Preserved Railways over the past few years.
Here we see No.18000 in action on a short passenger service , consisting of a rake of Ex-LMS stock.
Hope you enjoy!

The bottom one at first glance thought was a 31 pulling out of the back road at Exeter Central and heading off to Black Boy road tunnel for Exmouth Jct

Yes I hadn’t thought of that but I suppose it does a little bit.
That would make an interesting little model actually if you just did the section between the bridges with the old graffitied signal box…

A couple more photos I did yesterday. Already shown in my thread in the 7mm forum. But several said I should  them here too.

The sepia tint is done via a free online  photo ageing tool.

Cheers Ade.

Ade,

Whilst some are supposed to look realistic I would argue that these look like the real thing when done in this format, excellent modelling and glad you listened to your followers !
