Setting up Multiple Consists in JMRI

Hi,

 

I've just been getting the roster updated for the new layout in JMRI. As part of the operations, I want to be able to set up multiple consists of Multiple Units and Locos, however, I don't want to use the advanced consists & CV19 simply to allow flexibility in the future. 

 

From what I can see, JMRI doesn't allow multiple command station consists to be set up, nor does it allow these consists to be stored when the layout is not connected in the same way that the roster is stored.

 

Is there something I am missing?

 

I'm using Digitrax as my DCC system interfaced via their USB Module and then I'm using WiThrottle via JMRI to operate the trains.

From my reading, there isn't a tool onto the LocoNet Universal Consisting (which is what I think you're asking for).    

Most people use the Advanced (CV19) consisting. 

 

WiThrottle Apps have their own consisting as well, as another layer.  I think they do command station consists by sending multiple parallel commands to several locos.   But that is within the App itself, and doesn't go outside of it.
