MGR Hooper!
Got two questions for you'll today... - Is there any preserved A1/A1X in the "Stroudley Improved Green" livery on the network today? If so, where is it based and what coaching stock does it haul? - Does the Longmorn Distillery "Queen Anne" R&H 48DS still exist? And what type of wagons would the Distillery have owned and the loco hauled when it worked with them? TIA
RMweb Premium Jeremy Cumberland Posted August 3, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 3, 2020 As far as I know, Queen Anne is still at the Strathspey Railway (it was there in 2014). Here is a very informative article about it: https://whiskyshunters.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_4.html?m=1 The photographs show it shunting 5-plank wagons.

Depends on your definition of 'on the network' ...... both the NRM and Bluebell Railway are physically connected to Network Rail but neither 'Boxhill' nor 'Stepney' are operational ! ( 'Waddon's rather more remote ! )
Steamport Southport
They are all scheduled to go to Barrow Hill in 2022 which is connected to the mainline. The plan is to get as many of them together as possible for their 150th anniversary. Six have confirmed including Boxhill. And they are trying to bring Waddon over. Paul.Uni
The Kent & East Sussex Railway based Poplar/Bodiam will be in IEG livery when restored, before going into K&ESR Deep Green Livery in 2024. https://www.terriertrust.org.uk/news-and-events/234-bodiam-to-return-as-no-70-poplar-in-improved-engine-green According to the latest Steam Railway mag, the Isle of Wight pair have been confirmed (Freshwater is subject to overhaul being completed) for the Barrow Hill event in 2022, making 8.
