I has spent my time with searched online for class 26 Dutch haul freight 

but can’t find and I believe class 26 Dutch been hauled regional scotrail mk2 from Edinburgh to Inverness

Eastfield had been busy painting vacuum-braked Mk2 stock in ScotRail’s then latest livery in preparation for the extravaganza of loco-hauled summer dated services that the 156/158 revolution had caused… A T took the coaches to Inverness from Perth.

long time by no answer about class 26 ?!???

 

 I has spent long time with research for class 26 Railfreight and trainload coal and Dutch 

 

I think class 26 been worked duties of breakdown crane, ballast, coal, freight, passenger train and failed DMU

Try searching Flickr for class 26s, plenty of old photos there that should give you an idea of what hauled what, back in the day.

Ive had a pair of Dutch 26’s on Regional Railways stock twice, and twice on intercity mk1’s too... just not in Scotland ;-)

 

approaching Salford Crescent, from Manchester Victoria.

At least 7 Dutch 26’s made it to Manchester hauling passenger stock... 26001/3/5/6/11(twice)/36/40, plus 26025 in Railfreight on NSE stock.
