Another option for coaling can be found from 1:00 in this gloriously grot filled film. Sadly watering facilities are hard to spot, but for the rest of industrial scene its one of the best I've seen.

Another one which was well photographed thanks to the specials they ran was that at Littleton Colliery, which had its water tank atop the shed entrance...while impersonating a beeched submarine! I believe that one fed a wall mounted bracket outside and a standpipe inside the shed.
