Hi fellow members

I am trying to find a list (ideally with images) of every Class 37 made by Bachmann

If it was a spreadsheet then ideally whether it was 8 or 21 pin chassis

Does anyone know if such a list has been compiled anywhere

Thanks in advance

Ade

Bachmann used to provide such a list on their website.

But try this.

Wow, that is an amazing site - thanks for posting the link.

Moreover it shows just how much has been released over the past 30 years, compared with the previous 30.

I consider this manufacturer has really led the way in finely detailed and good running British R-T-R.  Well done Bachmann.

Here is something that I started some time ago, when I was really interested in class 37s. That phase has passed and I hadn't completed the list by any means, but you're welcome to use whatever part(s) of it that you like.

If you'd rather have the original spreadsheet then send me a PM.

So it appears the Class 37 never appeared in RES or Royal Mail livery?

If that's the case I'm also surprised it hasn't appeared in the fictional livery thread,  seems like a handsome colour combination to me.

Correct, 37s never wore those liveries (moreover, did any loco ever have official Royal Mail livery applied, I thought that was reserved for one-offs, LHCS and units).

I think a 'plausible' application of RES under Rule One could be for a Scottish 37/4 with Highland Rail stag logos, moving parcels and broadsheets between the Seven Cities; just an idea.

No Class 37's were allocated to the Parcels sector, so none were painted in any form of Post Office red.

Plenty of locos got the RES livery (08 / 47 / 86) but none got a livery similar to the 128 units or the liveries applied to various rolling stock items (TPO, GUV etc.)

A 47 in full Post Office red with "Royal Mail Letters" would look superb.
