RMweb Premium DavidLong Posted September 5, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 5, 2020 Does anyone know if 1D34 09.53 Manchester Piccadilly to Holyhead is still loco-hauled? RTT always shows the pathing as 158/168/170/175 but unless there is a problem it is usually Class 67 + hauled stock. I did wonder if, due to pandemic timetable changes, there may be enough units to operate this and associated diagrams. Unsurprisingly, I haven't been in North Wales much this year as, for much of it, I wasn't allowed in the country! David
Simon Bendall
There's no loco hauled workings to Holyhead at present, Mk.3s have gone and training is far from complete on the replacement Mk.4s.
DIRTY DIESEL
No loco hauled stock on 1D34, I believe the stock went back into storage a few months ago. Mk4 stock went down to Holyhead last Tuesday and is stabled next to wash plant opposite platform 1. It would be nice to now what the plans are for this train.
