During the interview Paul said that he gets a nosebleed if he "goes north of Bromley". Being Irish we didnt know where Bromley was at the time. We assumed it was a Glaswegian suburb. Then we went on Google maps....

We cannot or should that be cannae see his face, he may have a tissue in one hand against his nostril and a camera in the other.

If he kept going in a straight line south from Bromley, eventually he would arrive back at Bromley but have seen many exotic and less than exotic locations and trains on the way.

On my 1868 Railway Atlas, anything north of the Medway is marked with "here be sea monsters", apart from the kingdom of Hertfordshire (which is obviously the centre of the known universe).

Does that mean I need a bigger fuel tank for my Model T Fran?

Didn't you notice the beam and shoe attached to his leg that sparked when he walked into the interview room over the door gap. You can get him to Watford junction, but no traction north, so you will need to convince him he's on a mystery tour of third rails.

Looks like a little used siding with well maintained, or freshly laid track.

Obviously not Stewarts Lane.. those pullman folk would have the bolts aligned at right angles, symmetrically.

Would the gravel have that many foreign objects in an NR site?  Plenty of brick chips and other stones in there.

You still can't get him off the Southern Region though! :biggrin_mini2:

Now we know why they took on board Paul, they want someone who can say 33 correctly....

(edit: this is reference to the Deltic video announcement Andy did a couple years back as a joke over 33s made in the video).

Agree with you there ....... but still would prefer it to be South Eastern.

The track on the pic above looks a little overgrown, wonder if Paul's been to Sellindge crawling over something Bulleid ...... something electric....... something with two decks (ok, one and a half)......whose designer then decamped to Ireland......

NO, no steamies please, others do them, Accurascale do stuff from the deisel electric era - nuff said.

Very well too....

Some of us might think the steamies market could do with the shaking up that Accurascale has provided to the diesel and electric markets...
