Accurascale Welcomes Paul Isles On Board!

2nd that one!!

Kettles are overlooked.

Turbomotive!!

Must admit the Hornby retool on the Princess doesn't leave much clear market.

More obscure?

U1.

P1.

Decapod.

Big Bertha.

Would probably sell quite well for 'curiosity value'.

For the moment though, it has to be something that he can go out and measure in the south.

Those that know me would be surprised by this but.......

An up to date 57xx or 8750 pannier would be good. The Bachmann example is  now a tad dated but they keep banging out new (!) versions.

Longevity, choice of liveries and multiple variations, preserved examples to measure etc etc.....

As for the Southern ( sort of) .......again looking at Bachmann they popped a new chassis under their Ivatt 2 tank.......and left the body alone.

Good spread of allocation, limited livery, preserved examples and plenty of scope for fiddly bits of detail.....

And I won't mention a Black five.........or an Stanier 8F. Massive classes, many variations, lasted for ever, went everywhere..........oops

Funny I thought the same thing especially with the Rapido 16xx on the way.

A bit leftfield would be a 517, a 36xx 2-4-2T or a 2221 Tank.

Isn't it strange how so many topics turn into wish lists?

G6, N and K, please. :D

I think that was my first ever wishlist post but the 8F reference made me weaken...

As we're wishlisting, Metropolitan Railway E Class or a USATC S160 please.

I think I would succumb to an E, although I’d rather have a K. As for the S160, oh yes! I’ve fancied it since I saw one at Locomotion during the APT-E launch. YouTube has done nothing to calm me down. We’d better shut up or we’ll find the thread locked.

Yup; stop the wishing please or it floods a specific topic. We've got to unglue Paul's foot from the railhead and ease him northwards bit by bit without frightening him.

The Works Fore Cat humbly and unreservedly apologises for the conduct of The Sheep........again.

Looks a bit shifty; not sure if he can stay true to his word.

OK, really rattle a few skeletons ....

It set the standard 15 years ago perhaps but an updated Merchant Navy - choice of streamlined and rebuilt ...

Al.

Agree with your comment about the Rebuilt M/N.

However, it's very doubtful that Accurascale would seek to duplicate/ produce an airsmooth version, especially when Hornby have recently provided an excellent rendition of this locomotive.

We're still awaiting 4 new versions from H which are due out in the coming months.
