Success at last, Neal.

 

Interesting video, I was surprised at how noisy the TT drive was, but I don't think I have heard a stepper motor version in use before.

Good to hear that you've got there at last Neal although the path to final success has been a hard and rocky which was totally unnecessary in my view.

On the one hand I am very pleased that i've got there. But on the other hand of course, if Mike Green had played ball from the start, it would have been resolved ages ago.

 

In sending over the replacement part back in November, I gave him (in English and Spanish) my best phrase that i thought would be understood by customs, explaining that it was being returned to me as the original was faulty.

 

You wont be surprised to hear that he didn't use it. The paperwork simply says "Return repair" in English.

 

Maybe if he had used my phrase it would have arrived quicker.

 

It's here and it works, now I can carry on with all the outstanding jobs around the railway.
