Just bought a Hornby 0-4-0 Peckett "Forest" and <>?"*

Just bought a Hornby 0-4-0 Peckett "Forest" and the two valves? that go behind the sand dome in the middle of the Boiler snapped as I took the model out of the box. Are there any Brass castings available to replace the oh so delicate plastic ones. It is the smoothest queitest Model I have ever seen.

Safety valve cover. UK locomotives tend to have the sand in boxes much lower down. In this case they are just above the cylinders, there would also be one either side in the cab where the pipe is visible.

 

There's a better version available here. The whistle is also prone to breaking.

 

4SLP056 Peckett W4 and B2 Safety valve cover, salter safety valves and whistle suitable for the Hornby models.
