Some from the last years of Cardiff - Portsmouth diagrams. A couple of others of "The Six Five Special". 33027 at Westbury, undated, but the train looks to be the Brighton - Cardiff service. 33034 seems to be a popular subject, at Trowbridge. undated. 33048 gives it the beans, departing Trowbridge, Westbound. undated. 33030 & 33051 are seen at Exeter St Davids and then at Salisbury with the Hertfordshire Railtours "Six Five Special" 13/09/97. Some of these werent even 35mm photos, but captured on a 110 instamatic or even a disc camera! Unfortunately, all are unidentified and undated. This first shot is the earliest, pre-dating the wonton vandalism that was the demolition of the main station buildings. First up - 37027 at full chat, inside Eastfield TMD. It had just been repainted, hence the lack of number. 30/03/85 Staying in Scotland, 37099 is seen at Aberdeen. 16/03/96 37167 is seen working a Weymouth to Bristol at Trowbridge and Bath Spa. 25/07/90 An unidentified 37 is seen at Bath Spa with another train from Weymouth. undated. Firstly, the Royal Scotsman ecs is seen at Holt. With passengers onboard, 37376 gets away from Melksham with the working to Paddington. 37411 running round at Weymouth. A pair of unidentified 37's run round at Westbury on a very damp evening. I was waiting for the return of the 16.18 Bristol to Weymouth, which must have been something quite exotic to get me out on a school night, in such rubbish weather. Exotic traction to Weymouth? An unidentified "dutch" 37 hammers out of Trowbridge. undated. Another unidentified 37. Westbury LIP, undated. 45104 rests at Bescot. undated An unidentified "peak" races through Dawlish Warren, with an up train. Undated, but, I suspect 1984 or 85. Bristol TM. This was early on a Saturday morning and from memory, the train was an overnight relief from Glasgow or Edinburgh. I don't know where the 45 (Id previously thought this was 46026 but it cannot be) had failed, but a 47 has come to the rescue. Undated.
