Seven Mills Sidings is all but complete scenically and I'll be doing some photos for a Mag article over the coming days, but in the meantime the urge for another small OO Layout had to be satisfied. The plan is a simple one, a Single Track Branch to The Budoc Bridge Coal field that is near the end of it's working life, and is served off a now truncated Single Line, causing a reversal of the Train, and swapping end to end of the Brake Van at each exchange. There will also be some Van Traffic that will be needed down the Line as well. The Location will be a vague one, at the moment there will be a Green Heljan Class 27, but if at a later date I fancy a Blue 24, 25, 26, 33, 22 or even dare I say it, a Kettle or two for example then it wont look out of place. There will be very little in the way of Buildings, in fact, there may only be ONE. The size is 6ft 10 inches x 1ft, and is split between a 4ft 4 inch Scenic Board and the Swiveling Sector Fiddle Yard. So here are the boards in place over my Work Bench. Andrew P Posted October 7, 2020 Author Share Posted October 7, 2020 Moving on to the Plan, again, very simple, just 4 Points, in the pics you will see that I'm waiting for a Med Y Point to arrive. The Track that you see is Peco Code 75, but the Lines may be exchanged to Bull Head but retaining the Code 75 Points. It will be DCC Controlled, but the Points will be DC operated with Peco or Gaugemaster Motors and Gaugemaster DCC 80 Autofrogs. 11 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hi John, Yes the 27 leaves things a little flexible, but I'm probably thinking more Scottish for now, but that could change. Thanks Steve, It was an E-Bay purchase, it is Class 25 Sound fitted, but that's fine by me, and it arrived yesterday, I've had a Play with a couple of CV's and now on speed step 1 you can just see it starting to move, and the 2 and 3 bring it up to shunt mode which will be ideal for the Kadee Couplings. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
