The big question with the GPV is how many people are going to want to pay over £30 for a relatively commonplace freight vehicle.  True the £30 four wheel wagon is fast approaching but that still begs the question of how marketable that price range will be for a something fairly ordinary?

The £30 four wheel wagon is already here:

N Gauge EFE Shark RRP £36.95

N Gauge EFE Mermaid RRP £33.95

OO Gauge Revolution Trains IPA twin set £60 per twinset.

Given the choice of a Rapido four wheel wagon for £30 or one of the EFE (ex DJM) models I know which I'd guess would be the better model.

@rapidoandy Did you get the bank-account sorted? If not, would it be possible for you to start Rapidough Trains Ltd with a UK bank account which can then be bought out (including bank-account) by Rapido Trains for a norminal fee?

Interesting to watch Phil Parkers extended interview with Jason Schron.

The GPV is going to tooling and 2 locos are at the design stage, with a 3rd being planned.

As far as locos are concerned I hope they have chosen wisely/with some original thought and not been solely influenced by poll results.

Apparently they will be announced as soon as the bank account is sorted.

Other than the GPV there was no talk about Carriages or Wagons.

Any link to see this video?

The link to the "short" video - shown on the virtual exhibition today is below.

Clear mention of two locos and a possible third. Also another UK employee..... I have heard a rumour who that may be.. ;)

Interesting interview.

In addition to the already mentioned GPV and 2 or 3 locos, I guess the buses in Birmingham really captured Jason given he wants to do more.

The comment about a lengthy list of things they want to make should also prove interesting as things progress beyond the initial items.
