RMweb Gold Huw Griffiths Posted October 16, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 16, 2020 Another great issue. I particularly like the observation car build article - it looks great (and would probably also have looked great in "varnished wood" finish. I'd also like to add that all the "build in progress" photos are greatly appreciated (and likely to come in very useful with my railbus builds - even if the scale is rather different). To be honest, I've only got one "complaint" here. I always thought railway modelling was supposed to be about motive power and little else. Joking aside, I'm sure that lots of us could reasonably be accused of concentrating on motive power, pretty much to the exclusion of everything else. Meanwhile, I suspect that the balance between locomotives and rolling stock might have been rather different on real railways. Anyway, I'm enjoying the magazines - even though I'm not planning on building my own garden line any time soon. Huw.
