Class 33 D6558 3437 red lights?

Hi I have received a new class 33. I have installed a DCC decoder (8pin gaugemaster) 

 

does this model have red tail lights or is my decoder installed the wrong way round?

I'm sure mine do but they're very faint indeed. Can you see anything if you switch the room lights off? In theory the loco should only be displaying red tail lights if it's either running light engine, or is a class 33/1 propelling some TCs.
