RMweb Gold markjj Posted October 17, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 17, 2020 (edited) A bit of a long shot but does anyone have any photos of the rear of Ais Gill Signal box. If not as it actually was situated photos of it in it's new situation at Butterly GF. I'm trying to see how the walkway at the rear attaches to the box and if there is another entrance. RMweb Premium Compound2632 Posted June 19, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 19, 2021 (edited) @markjj, the Midland Railway Study Centre has a photograph, Item 77-52015, catalogued as "Ais Gill S.B. Back and steps end 29/9/1974" - one of a set of photos of the box from all angles taken on that date. Unfortunately there's no thumbnail image in the online catalogue but I suggest you contact the Study Centre coordinator, Dave Harris, via the website.
