55017
I have a 2004 Evening Star Hornby 9F, tender driven. It is out of a Marks and Spencer limited edition Evening Stat set I have. On checking it today I noticed the pony truck plastic has turned brittle and fallen apart. I’m after a front pony truck Complete with wheels, steps, coupling. If anybody has one they’d like to sell or could point me in write direction for spares I’d be grateful.

andyman7
I think this part is compatible for any of the 9Fs made up to that date. The UK (Margate) part was X814 and is easily available as here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-X814-9F-Pony-Truck-With-Wheels-/323263833432 If you use this option you may want to replace the UK wheels with the blackened China made ones from the broken pony truck

I believe they are the loco drive version that the old tender drive unit disintegrates on.
