ESU Loksound v 4.0

Huge learning curve here. Finally got a Loksound on my new Prodigy Advance. Having a lot of fun.

But...

Is there any way to turn an 'play once' function into an off/off.

 

Hornby Britannia Loksound V4 (Hornby fitted) has the safety valve mapped as play once, which gives a short (2 second) burst of safety valve before going off. I really want it to stay on until I ask it to go off.

Similarly 'short whistle' plays once but the function stays on, meaning it needs two presses to pay it again (one to turn off the funciton, then turn it back on).

Someone messed up the programming. which is surprising because I thought back around 2012 when the model was made, ESU did the sound projects for Hornby.
