It could (or would) be argued by some members hereabouts, that not being 100% accurate, one cannot pin down a date for such a model. . Fat Controller Posted October 30, 2020 Share Posted October 30, 2020 Looking at David Larkin's 'Wagons of the Early British Railways Era', he suggests they started to appear in 'British Iron and Steel Corporation' livery in 1939-40, to a design by Charles Roberts, and the design was carried on by BR.
