RMweb Premium Alex TM Posted November 9, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 9, 2020 Hi everyone, I have had a look in the usual places but cannot find the answer to this one. The reason behind the question is that not only did I watch the real one in action in Inverness in the early 90s, but I am also considering buying the Dapol model. Knowing when she was dual-braked would give me an idea of what stock could be run with it. Thanks in advance for any help. Regards, Alex.

RMweb Premium Alex TM Posted November 9, 2020 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted November 9, 2020 Hi Sid, That really helps. I was wondering if the air brakes were added once the Mk3 sleepers came into use. Regards, Alex.

w124bob
Just to make things more interesting 08717 was converted to to 09 spec at the end of 1992 and given the number 09204 https://www.flickr.com/search/?text=09204 I assume by 09 spec this just means regearing. Hi again, Managed to get a look at a few sample pages online; it looked useful so now have a copy on its way to me. Again, thanks.
