Popular Post MrWolf
Morning all, It is, just. I went for an easy win as suggested, so I did some light weathering and fitted a couple of notice boards to the parcels / cycle shed. images lost. RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted January 16, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 16, 2022 Morning Rob. That really does look the part. I am very much a fan of these little corrugated sheds. They have a lot of character, especially when so well modelled. As you suggest, small bites...... Rob. 2 1
MrWolf
I seem to have bought another relic of a pannier. It's one of the older Bachmann versions, but having had a good look at it, no monkey metal malaise, no droopy conrods or abstract quartering. It runs well too, despite being over 15 years old. I won't feel so bad if I make a pig's ear of backdating it. Wot? No crew, lamps, fire irons or dirt? The experimental sheep have clearly died of embarrassment... Images lost. Popular Post MrWolf
A CAUTIONARY TALE: This is the kind of thing that can happen when you have an hour or so spare between waiting for a delivery to arrive and collecting the memsahib from her errands and going out for the afternoon. I decided to have a sort out of the spares box. The old Peco LK-4 platelayers hut is a mostly nice thing. But the window is a bit naff (The door is excellent though and I could use a few) The worst thing is that chimney. What's it supposed to be? As there's a hole for it in the sheet and batten roof and the gutter is moulded on, I decided to lose that too. Roof is Wills' sheet. Gutter is Ratio with plastic card ends. Drainpipe Peco and the chimney is modified Wills'. I cut a hole in the front and modified a Wills' 3x3 pane window. The daft part of all this is that there is nowhere on the layout for this shed, I already have one in place. But, it has got me motivated again. Better go and fetch Miss R before I start building a broad gauge goods shed or something.... images lost. Tortuga
Nicely done! Definitely better with a proper chimney than that stage coach horn! 1 1
Nick Gough
A vast improvement on the original. I bet you could make contact with the International Space Station using that Peco 'chimney'. Edited January 21, 2022 by Nick Gough 1

I'd be careful there Mr Wolf. There are some inhabitants of this realm who would class that as inhumane treatment and im not just talking about the sheep. We don't want you being tried for war crimes at the Hague do we. Imagine the headlines. Wolf caught abusing panniers.Sheep to receive cowselling at taxpayers expense. Wolf says it was an honest mistake as they were green and he's colorblind. Sheep spotted on far side of the moon.

MrWolf
The pannier has gone back in its box so that it doesn't scare the sheep. They're doing a splendid job of distracting attention from what we're really working on.
