No, it was eye droppers plural. The single digit was for Cack and his disciples, Fubar Snafu and Fail.

She knows me well enough to realise that if she came back with one, I would either lose it, break it or otherwise #### it up.

As they're the fancy glass ones, I can keep a bottle sealed with dilute PVA and it won't turn to cheese overnight.

Thanks to @chuffinghell, the Scammel mechanical horse is no longer lame.

There's also another RH point on it's way here and just discernable behind the trailer, the finials for the station building and signal box have arrived.

Meanwhile, we have acquired the equivalent of a scarecrow to ward off Cack and Buses.

Tried and failed to hide it behind the goods shed...

If it wasn't for Airfix kits, I would

probably have never have got into modelmaking and ended up as one of those weirdos who watches football.

I suspect that I am not alone.

Weirdo.

I enjoyed playing it. Watching other people do it always bored me to death.

I have the same attitude about a lot of popular activities....;)

A lot of my family have played football and rugby semi professionally in the past, but life took me off in other directions.

I got put off football by three things. The players, the fans and the experts.

I do try to keep fit and make a point of cycling daily ( we don't do lycra...)

and working out five days a week. I don't do gyms, too many posers (see my objections to football)

Time I did something constructive to share with you all!

Still play too, what's officially known as 'Walking Football', except no one walks. I'm also about the youngest there (at 57), some are over 70.

Are you suggesting overs are old. Age is just a number, take that from an over 85

I was listening on the news today about Covid and government plans to accelerate 2nd jabs for the over-50s, and it took a while for it to sink in that includes me!

Inside, I think I'm about 30.

Likewise,  I don't think of myself as being 50 because I don't know how you're supposed to be and I probably don't want to know.

I've had both of my jabs already. Long story. The memsahib had both of hers before I did, she's a bit broken.

A Chinchilla got me into bother once.

A friend of mine had one and doted on it. She fell out with her boyfriend and in an act of spite, he drowned it in the toilet.

So being somewhat intolerant of bullies, I informed him of my displeasure.

He went to the police, mistakenly believing that you couldn't be charged with animal cruelty for "a big rat".

The dust is very cheap if bought from a pet shop. For what you pay for a tiny gripseal bag of "scale grit" from a modelmakers' supplier, you can buy enough to model the station and yard at El Alamein in O gauge.
