I didn’t use wire I glued the posts to nickel silver rod that way it stayed rigid so I didn’t have to try an tension the wire

I did the same on Kings Moreton.

At the other end of Warren I used Scale Model Scenery post and wire fencing

and again used nickel silver rigid wire

I also made an installation jig to make sure the posts were equally spaced

just placed the ‘jig’ where I wanted the fencing and hammered it in

I haven't actually done ANY modelling today, it was an early trip to the car boot, followed by a day of cycling and a pub lunch.

Normally, the car boots turn up a little something of interest, if only a dog eared motorcycle handbook or some random bit of militaria we can sell or swap, but today was good, obviously the dealers overslept.

We got these:

They've had paint, transfers and scale metal wheels. There's a lot more that could be done.

And this, which is a bit of a trip back to junior school for me!

It's an early issue from before the "Potentially offensive imagery" was removed from the box and contents and quite rare.

We also found this,  on our cycle ride (Five go on an adventure looting railway relics, by Enid Blighton.) I think it's of L&NWR heritage. Unfortunately I couldn't tie it on the back of the bicycle.

Does anyone know who is the genius responsible for the banner ad that creeps down from the top of my screen and covers up the little bell icon that you tap to read your notifications?

I have to close the screen and go back in every time I want to read another post!

And having to close a pop up and almost every time you go to a new topic?

I know that we aren't subscribers, but one thing guaranteed to put me off any website is pop up ads that move around or manipulate the screen so that you inadvertently click on it.

The really rage inducing ones are those that promise to remove all the adverts if you click on their advert.

Which appears to be the c2ap that is popping up here.

C2AP ? Is that an unsuccessful Southern Electric prototype?

Thanks @St EnodocI would like to say that makes sense of it all......

But then that would be something of an exaggeration!

Whilst I understand that advertising pays for everything, it would seem that the external agencies setting up the adverts on here are having a laugh.

The current notification button blocker is an advertisement offering me an oak truss.

I don't need a truss, oak or otherwise.

The sheep have arrived, all twenty four of them ( Three packs of eight.) They are IMO as good as the cattle that @Bluemonkey presents....got from the same source Serious Play (No connection.) Only a little flash to deal with, the legs are all present, if a little sturdy, but allowance must be made for how fine and fragile they are.

It's going to be fun trimming away the pinned back ears and making the more llama esque ears of the Clun forest breed out of writing paper, but I'm going to do it!

No.

I don't want to buy a #@£*## electric Volvo thank you very much.

Unless it looks like the coupe Roger Moore drove in the original version of The Saint.

Everything that you've made since about 1967 looks like a refrigerator and is about as inspiring.

 #@#£&** adverts!
