Fireline
The wheels won't run over pointwork on proper OO gauge track, hence it comes with it's own plastic track. 1

RMweb Premium John M Upton Posted December 31, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 31, 2020 My little one now has a four car set running on a circle of conventional OO setrack and I am looking for some sort of equivalent loco to go with it, HO or OO but needs to be internally battery powered (I.e. no controller required) and also run on conventional OO track. Any suggestions please? As for not being able to run through conventional OO scale points, I think rewheeling would be fairly straightforward. Administrators Phil Parker Posted December 31, 2020 Administrators Share Posted December 31, 2020 I re-wheeled the set in the BRM review. You need to fit brass bearings which complicates the job, and increases the cost.

Don’t forget the clockwork items by Hornby and Lima (Crick range) plus even older the Playcraft ones. All 00/H0.
