ianp
This may be of interest to many here. The French publisher La Vie du Rail has just published an "Historic Atlas of French Railways". Volume 1 can be seen here: https://www.boutiquedelaviedurail.com/l-atlas-historique-des-chemins-de-fer-francais-tome-1-la-vie-du-rail-c2x33149687 More than 300 pages for 49 euros! And that is just the first volume covering a mere four regions. You can sample it via this link: https://en.calameo.com/read/006235721f891cdc52233. RMweb Premium Neil Posted November 20, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 20, 2020 I'm afraid that the link tells me that it's "sorry this page does not exist".

ianp
Well, how odd. It worked for me, and I pasted the link direct from the email from the publisher. Try again: https://en.calameo.com/read/006235721f891cdc52233 If that also gives error messages it must be something going wrong at their end. Which, if I am frank, is not uncommon with French websites.
Allegheny1600
Works fine for me, thank. It looks to be a fascinating book, I’ll put it on my list! Merci, John.
RMweb Premium Neil Posted November 21, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 21, 2020 Works for me now. I notice that the original link had a full stop at the end which once I removed brought up the page. I see that the second link given doesn't have the full stop. Mystery solved I think.

RMweb Premium jamie92208 Posted December 2, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 2, 2021 Rail Passion has now announced that Volume 2 is available and that Volume 3 will be published in 2023. It sounds as if Vol 2 covers Brittany to Paris along the north of France. Jamie
