spikey
There's an old Bachmann PO wagon which I'm after, but I can't remember the name of the colliery. It's Welsh, it's unpronouncable, and IIRC it's a pit which is either solely or mainly anthracite. I think the wagon body's red or possibly brown, but the sides are definitely a miniature masterpiece of the signwriter's art in that they're practically covered in text listing among other things the different sizes and grades available. It's definitely the one with the most text on the sides. Anybody know which one I'm thinking of? Edited November 25, 2020 by spikey clarity

RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted November 25, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 25, 2020 (edited) Not hard to pronounce; Abb err per goom, with goom pronouned like book not like room, is pretty close. Colliery and village in the Neath valley. It’s certainly an attractive livery! Edited November 25, 2020 by The Johnster
Steamport Southport
There was a few like that. I always wondered whether the signwriter was charging by the letter. Jason
