Edwardian
La France was the H1, so we now have the other principal variant, with the distinctively different running plate. Better yet, it's a slightly earlier condition with the as-built bogie brakes (), which, IIRC, Bradley RCTS says were removed in the 1914-6 period. Now, it may be recalled that the EP for this was revealed when Bachmann first announced the Atlantic. I became very excited. Then, no pre-Grouping release and, much later, the H1 La France. An Industry Insider told me of some disaster that meant scrapping the tooling. If so, I commend Bachmann all the more for making good on this early condition version.
