Fredo
Hi, can anyone help, I am trying to identify the correct allocation of E4 32500 from 1959 to its withdrawal in 1962 as I am modelling it in that period. The Br database website has it as Guildford and the SLS as Nine Elms. Does anyone have access to a publication that gives any allocation in that period. Thanks Fred
Rivercider
BR Steam allocations Part Nine by P B Hands shows it at 70A Nine Elms from 1/57 to withdrawal 1/62. On Flickr the only 2 photos I could quickly find show it at Nine Elms in April 1960, and March 1961, cheers
pH
Ian Allan Locoshed Books show it at 70A in May 1961 and November 1961. Edited November 29, 2020 by pH

Fredo
Thanks to everyone that’s great. On another topic does anyone know if 30693 ever received a late BR crest.
chris45lsw
No, Fredo! But if you want to change one digit the following 3069x engines had late crests. 30694/95 and 97 had forward facing crests both sides. 30690/96/98 and 99 had left facing crests each side.
