Heljan Class 20 and a normal sound decoder

Ive got hold of a Heljan 20 in RF Grey. 

 

Its DCC fitted and its got one of the new high current gaugemaster DCC decoders fitted. It works fine.

 

Would i be able to add a 2nd decoder for sound? I was thinking a TTS chip or a loksound chip as i have both spare

 

So in effect the guagemaster chip would be driving the loco and controlling the lights and the TTS or loksound would be there just for the sound function.

 

Would this be an effective solution as i do quite like the sound of the TTS 20

Personally I run my Heljan Class 20 on 00 Gauge Loksound V5 as the current drawn the Class 20 is quite low
