Indeed. I wonder if it's new tooling or a re-issue. hard to tell

It could be both.

If the origional tooling has been lost / acidentally destroyed or damaged then Hornby could produce another set from the unaltered CAD files. In such a situation it would be new tooling but not newly designed tooling...

Allegedly this range is bigger than last years but it feels about half the size. Has anyone else noticed this?

Deffine 'range'

There are a number of nuances to consider - each one of those extra modern era coaches still count as a 'new item' in the 2021 range of products

Similarly all those 4/6 wheeled coaches are also 'new' items.

As such it is quite possible that the range of locomotives being offered this year is smaller than last year, but taken as a whole, the entire 'range' of products from is larger numerically in 2021 than 2020.

I believe it to be as per the original.

No new steam tools by the looks of it.

Did you read the whole list of topics before rushing to post that? P2, 9F etc.

Yes, compared to previous years there aren't that many new steam tools IMO.

Sunshine BR A1x but not SR , why though? So near yet so far :p I know it's an easy relivery but I'll keep waiting :p

Certainly an interesting and unusual choice of livery - correct for August '49 (when she returned from the IOW) to at least December '51 (overhaul at Brighton, and so I assume a repaint into lined black as well)

I've got a feeling that 32640 ought to have lined splashers/sandboxes in early crest though - will need to find more photos to check, but she certainly does in the photo halfway down this page

I shall probably get both if I can afford it though!

But you said there were none. You were wrong and then you have the nerve to start a topic for complaints. You really do need to get a sense of proportion and stop throwing silly statements around wasting my time and that of other readers.
