Looks good if a bit complex, Great workmanship   Way beyond my bodging abilities, and it wouldn't bang points over quickly enough to replicate a good old mechanical point linkage.  Like the whip wire as a driver, Inspiring.

Here's the plan view, so yes - I think you can arrange them pretty close together.... in almost any configuration i would think.

 

Yes, that a little furnace of my wife's. I've got a little laser,  cnc, lathe (unimat 3) and bits on my side!

Your cam driven actuator has given me an idea to simplify my own N20 driven point motor design, only my cam will be linear rather than radial, but without the spark given by your design mine would still be unnecessarily complex. Thank you.
